How Does the Horizontal Vacuum Belt Filter Work?
After installation and adjustment, slurry is evenly distributed onto the filter cloth through the feeding hopper. Under vacuum suction, liquid passes through the filter cloth and enters the vacuum box, then flows through the collecting hose into the vacuum tank.
The solid filter cake remains on the filter cloth and moves forward continuously. According to the process design, the cake can pass through mother liquor separation, co-current washing, counter-current washing, and vacuum drying sections. After further dewatering, the filter cake is discharged by the discharge device.
During operation, the filter cloth and rubber belt are cleaned by the washing device to maintain stable filtration performance. The belt rectifying system monitors the cloth position and corrects deviation automatically, helping the equipment run safely and continuously.
